ABOUT LAUNCH COMMUNICATION





After completing a three-year Bachelor of English degree at Canterbury University the first article Karen Phelps ever wrote was published. Now over 20 years later she has written literally hundreds of articles on a wide variety of topics.

Karen’s work has been published in the New Zealand Herald, Sunday Star Times, Dominion Post, The Press, Business North and Next to name but a few.

Karen has worked for television production companies coming up with creative advertising concepts and scripts, designed websites and written search engine friendly text, devised Google Ads and Facebook campaigns and has written a pilot for television for TV3.

She has also written a number of plays for children published in Australia, New Zealand, England and the United States.​

Karen started Launch Communication in 2008 specialising in helping businesses communicate more effectively to increase turnover and add value to their business and brand.
